Help Us
When we were founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace more than 100 years ago, our mission was to provide residential care to the blind, regardless of their ability to pay. That legacy of caring continues to this day.

Now as a long-term skilled nursing care facility for blind and sighted adults, we pride ourselves on an array of programs and activities that add to the quality of our residents' lives. But it might surprise you to learn that government funds, such as Medicare and Medicaid, do not cover even the full cost of basic long-term care, let alone pay for those "little extras" that add so much joy to life.

In recent years we have been blessed by the generosity of so many in support of our mission. All of the programs that make such a difference in the lives of our residents and their families are made possible in part thanks to the support of people like you.
